Can you please explain this one.

1st season 2009 UA wins 26-21
2nd season AU wins but hell UA finishes 4th in the west division, not the conference,so not really a power house team that year.
3rd season UA wins 42-14
4th season AU wins 34-28(impressive win and offense) give him that but where is this 3 out of 4.

Reality is he has yet shown to be consistent the next year. Because until he can repeat it again his ability really is a product of the talent more so than outcoaching.

Yup. That's what happened.

Had nothing to do with losing 9 starters on the offense.

Nothing to do with 3 new starters on the OL.
Nothing to do with 2 new starters at WR.
Nothing to do with losing the #1 pick in the draft.
Nothing to do with losing the starting HB.
Nothing to do with the HC.

Apparently all the SEC coaches forgot how to defend it in his one year in the sunbelt. You pay your coach 7 mill a year and he can't remember how to defend an offense he saw for 3 years? You're a fricking idiot.

How impressive you can call people names that do not agree with you. All you listed was excuses. I mean I could make the same list for UA this year. But I guess UA did not replace 3 OL either or the top RB gone in the 1st round or a DL that had to start a true freshman and so on and so on.

In the end the fact is Gus has yet to repeat his success the next year. No matter how much you scream or make excuses he has not plain and simple. It will not change until he does even with your attempts to be the top cyber bully on the Rant.

2
Sure...

2009: Bama was vastly more talented but thanks to Gus, AU scored more than they should have and bama needed "The Drive" with all the conversions to pull it out right at the end. And that was with Todd having a dead arm by that time in the season. He couldn't get anything on his passes, yet was one badly underthrown ball away from probably putting bama away. Gus vs Saban was the reason the game was close. Score 1 for Gus.

2010: AU wins in BD against a more talented bama team that was up 24-0. Gus adjusted in the second half and bama got their arse kicked after we got our two defensive tackles back that were suspended. Score 2 for Gus.

2011: Probably a draw. Best team bama has ever fielded vs a dumpster fire that just lost 30 players to graduation and the draft.

2013: Duh.

Really Gus has "outcoached" saban 3 times and 1 draw.

Again what is with the excuses. But I will play along

2009 UA wins
2010 AU did not beat a more talented team. UA finished 4th in the SEC west. So we were very bad that year.
2011 AU got spanked plain and simple
2013 UA very over rated and AU still needed luck to pull off victory and the luck did not carry over and AU got beat in the NCG.

No matter how you try and reinvent your fantasy world Gus is 2-2 vs Saban. 2013 I will give credit where credit is due and Gus outcoached Saban. Maybe 2010 but AU was the better team that probably should have never let UA go ahead in the first place.

Again facts are facts even with the spin so bookmark this link and we can revisit next December. Because truth be told AU was ahead of the curb in my opinion this year. Next year is the year I think they be maybe one of the best in the country.

Really?

You are losing 9 starters on offense.

Interdasting....

Correct yet again.

His offense sucked his second year at both Tulsa and Auburn.

Your facts are amazing.

ah, Gus coaches defense now.

well the draft certainly disagrees with your assessment.

Nice. I like how you use the fantasy word and then include the times when he was only a coordinator. As if he was responsible for the entire team.

Facts and facts are abound in your posts.

You may need to put down the crack pipe before responding next time. My post regarding the 2-2 was in response to the other poster who brought it up when he was an OC as well as a HC.

Crack pipe Joey I responded to a poster who stated that Gus out coached Saban 3 out of 4 times. He never specified offense nor used the word. Again sometimes when you are wrong sometimes you should just stop posting.

I know your next response will be another attempt to rant on and calling a name but do us all a favor first. Go find your vibrator, use it, and relieve the tension. I am sure after that it will all be alright for you.

lulz

Good point. He was clearly talking about Gus, the defensive genius, out coaching Saban, the offensive genius. Or was Gus the HC outcoaching Saban the HC?

Maybe you need to take your own advice and just stop. You look like a moron.

Irony at its finest. Bitch about name calling (like a huge pussy) for, what, 3 posts then throw out a girl/vibrator reference to "burn" me.

Oh poor girl it must be tough for you.

BTW it is recruiting which is entertainment and the rant provides the best. Just enjoy and never take it personal.

Says the douche who bitched about personal insults for 3 posts in this thread and now resorts to "girl" posts?

No more "facts" to lay on us? Too much reality thrown in your face?

21 points with Chris Todd at QB is at the very worst a "tie".

AU was the better team because we were better coached. The talent level on those teams was not comparable.

2011 AU got spanked plain and simple

No doubt but Vince Lombardi Bill Belichick and Bill Walsh all on the same staff couldn't have had done any better with the QBs we had that year.

Haha, UA "very overrated". I'm sure that's what you were saying before the game when you had been rolling everybody since early September coming off 2 straight national titles. Talk about fantasy world.

The fact is in 3 months to work with Malzahn took a defensive back, stuck him at quarterback and beat alabama by scoring 28 (offensive) points which should have been at least 7 more with basic execution.

I'm not dumb enough to think Gus is going to dominate saban forever but he has certainly had a lot of success against him so far often playing against a stacked deck.

However, you are a complete moron.

Once the deck is no longer stacked, Gus may start putting a few arse beatings on saban really. Esp at the Hare.

Anyway, it is pretty clear Gus has outcoached saban in every IB except for 2011.
