Cool story. I accidentally hit the down arrow and it would not let me fix it.

The Goal Line Stand is my first true Bama memory. I was born into it. My kids have been washed in crimson. They could sing the fight song at 4. I love telling them stories about the tradition at Alabama. If you haven't been to the museum you really need to go. Just understand that Alabama is better at football than anybody else.

Thanks for the tips and info. I've bought to of the RBR reading list books on Amazon already.

A few more questions. what phrases (besides "Roll Bama Roll") are most used/cherished? What things, when said, anger a Bama fan the most (please keep it clean)? Whose our QB gonna be next season?

Was born a Crimson Tide fan by the grace of God.

I can remember listening to Bama games on the radio with my dad back in the 70's when only a hand full of games were televised.

I was even luckier when I married the girl of my dreams and she loves UA, T-Town, and Bama just as much as I do.

I love everything about the UA and Bama tradition.

On game days when I close the SUV door and turn the key over and start driving down Hwy.82 headed to T-Town I still get excited and feel like a kid at Christmas.

When The Walk of Champions takes place I start getting chills down my arms. When I walk through the entrance way to my seats and see the inside of BDS there's a feeling that I cannot describe and I know at that time that I am truly in heaven.

This is why I love with all my heart the Alabama Crimson Tide.

ETA: Another good documentary is "Against The Tide" and it tells about some of the Bama football tradition also the book "Rammer Jammer, Yellow Hammer" is a good book to read.
