Yes. You are right. but that is their problem for thinking that way. Not every football player makes it to the NFL. But you know what? not every Med student makes it as a doctor. not every business major makes it in business. That is life. You get an education, and you have a better chance of succeeding

No. I would be willing to bet most football players could not maintain Hope.
Why does Georgia let them in? The same reason all the other schools let in subpar students. It is n't perfect, but which is better? Leaving a player out of school where he will almost certainly fail, or attempt to give him an education because of his skills so he MIGHT succeed?

Not all students get those benefits. How much is insurance worth to you and your family? In my book, that is pretty good compensation. Take away all insurance benefits from a financial package and see how many people leave a job. Not all compensation comes in the form of money. But it doesn't make it any less valuable. Ask how may students would gladly take a free education, food and shelter while at college.

Ctowell stayed in trouble almost from the time he stepped on campus. Could we have used him? Maybe. but he came out of almost every game because of injury. He probably would have been out for the season after the first game.

For what it is worth I was not calling for JHC to be kicked off the team. I said the punishment should be left up to the coaches. that is what they are paid for, right?
