A GA for A&M (Ward, I think) who used to be at West Mesquite (DSG's High School), for all intents and purposes started steering DSG to Boise hoping that Yates would give him the DB coach job as a result. The week of the Duke game, Sumlin found out about it and fired Ward on the spot.
