SEC Champs, #2 in the country last year and undefeated #5 going into week 4 and we are barely holding on to other teams' leftovers

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Hope we see some real changes in our recruiting momentum next year.

We really dont need this guy. Taylor is a bad take in my opinion. Way past what we have been taking in

Finally some descent DL news. Per AUR 5* DE Terry Beckner Jr. has put AU in his top 6 since AU has turned up the heat recruiting him. An OV now seems likely.

Prepare yourself to be disappointed. austudent22 says it is pretty much a done deal according to his high school coaches. He said according to them we are trying our best to keep it quiet until he announces in Dec. I have a daughter so I'm not sure I agree with taking him either.

Heck no I don't want him. We need to petition the coaching staff to drop all recruitment of this kid.

Will love to see how the writers defend and try to get me excited about a DT class of Maurice Swain, Jauntavius Johnson, and Johnathon Taylor.

I'm sure they'll point out RGs ability to find "diamonds in the rough" and use the word "potential" a lot.

Free "bolt" from AUC -

Malzahn addresses domestic violence and recruiting
33 minutes ago

Given the recent trend of domestic violence issues in the NFL, the discussion has now spread over into the college ranks. During his Tuesday press conference, Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn was asked whether or not he had a "zero tolerance" policy regarding the issue.

"There's no doubt about that, and I would expect most programs around the country have that," Malzahn said.

When specifically asked how he would handle that when it comes to recruiting and whether Auburn would recruit players with a past history of domestic violence, Malzahn said, "you don't go there."

Of note, Copiah-Lincoln Community College defensive tackle Jonathan Taylor has expressed interest in visiting Auburn this weekend. Taylor was dismissed from Georgia in July of 2014 on charges of aggravated assault and family violence.

Interesting. That would lead one to believe that we aren't recruiting him.

With DV being a huge visible issue right now I sure hope Gus and the staff have more sense then recruiting him.

Jauntavius Johnson

He has done well this season from all accounts and just didn't go to camps. He seems to actually be solid from everything reported on him

If he is the best guy though this class is just meh for DT

Throw raw in there as well.

I've been noticing lately that the "just didn't camp" excuse is becoming more and more prevalent as well.

That is a legitimate excuse. If a kid doesn't go to camps, he doesn't get scouted very much. More of just a fact than anything else.

Johnson hasn't really done any camps. That is a fact.
