3nOut you should also try The Lies of Locke Lamora if you like The Name of the Wind. Which was an A+ read, I agree
I'm not a big Stephen King fan but The Stand was remarkable
Have y'all read The Godfather? Quick read and great book (yes just like the movie)

So I renegged and read Gone Girl before seeing the movie. All sorts of effed up, but in an awesome way.
We had 2 hours to kill in B&N this morning and I got a few.
Interestingly we were going to see Gone Girl, but when my wife demanded me to spoil it a bit, she nixed it because she doesn't do depressing, sociopath movies. We saw Maze Runner instead last night and picked that up as well as a few others.
One that I started today was Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling. Definitely a different turn for her as I have read about 10 profanities even I don't use IRL 20 pages in. Interested to see her outside of HP series.
