The ball was in his hand, no more than 4 feet from the rim (my estimation), with nothing directly between the ball and the rim. Can't ask for a whole lot more than that. Got jostled enough to throw off the shot a little, just didn't make it.
We are not turning the corner just yet, but I think we are starting into the curve.
Hope Qualls and Madden hang around one more year, if they don't it's a step backwards I think.

This.
That's exactly the position we wanted to be in. 80-90% of the time you're either going to make that layup, get a foul called, or get a rebound with an easy put back.
