I've always thought that was silly. I've been in locker rooms where that was a prevailing thought and it was a shitty vibe, a pay dues, pay respect kind of thing when really everyone should just be cool with each other and know everyone is working toward a common goal in improving the organization.

Not a bad thing in my book, and it's what's needed to break up a GOBN strangling competitiveness out of a program.

This there is no rebuttal for, maybe the SEC isn't geared for success in basketball where the best players typically come from inner cities where basketball is one of the few options for them and school isn't that important because they all hope to be one and dones and the corrupt AAU and prep school system already has their hooks into kids looking to cash hoop checks not ace chem tests.

The ball was in his hand, no more than 4 feet from the rim (my estimation), with nothing directly between the ball and the rim. Can't ask for a whole lot more than that. Got jostled enough to throw off the shot a little, just didn't make it.

We are not turning the corner just yet, but I think we are starting into the curve.

Hope Qualls and Madden hang around one more year, if they don't it's a step backwards I think.
