Look, you can focus on the last play and dissect it and conclude as to why it didn't work, etc.

But the previous two defensive possessions is what lost the game, the first Portis needlessly fouled by dropping his arms down, he was in the right position and the shot actually hit the bottom of the back board from the driver being out of control towards the basket, he keeps his arms strait up and that is a no call 90% of the time.

The next position Clark was late to rotate to help defend the basket giving up an easy lay up.

Sound defense on either one of those possessions and we are not having this discussion.

Agreed. Honestly, I think the major problem with this team is that we're not very smart. Too many dumb mistakes in every facet of the game, and it adds up to losses in the end
