he's never really been an OC either. he rode Norm Chows coattails and has failed everywhere he's been since.

That's the thing. UA will have a new QB. I don't think anyone can really know if Kiffin can train him properly or not. Seems a gamble.

He was teh OC/Playcaller in 2005, Chow was with the Titans. That offense was arguably the best in history.
