Read the damn article, was said JW was chosen because the team backed him more and Winston not being picked would've divided the team.

Look I realize we are talking about the guy who won the Heisman and dominated in the ACC but you saw as well as I did against AU's D (not stellar by any stretch) that Winston was a tad bit mediocre even though FSU won the game

Coker has yet to step foot on campus at Bama I realize that but this article proves from all accounts that he has the same potential

There is an article on TomahawkNation.

About how Jimbo struggled for days with the decision. There is a youtube video of him announcing it.....and he doesnt seem "at ease" about it.

Jameis just lit it up when he had the opportunity.

To be fair though. THis is similar how it was to AJ vs. Phil Sims. Both were great throughout practice. AJ looked better when getting the first opportunity. Sims transferred and got lost in the shuffle. Dont think that happens with a smart kid like Coker. But sometimes losing out on a job can throw you off track.

In garbage time this year, Coker was 50% on 36 attempts 0 tds 1 int and 5 sacks. Please tell me more about how he should have been the starter, but for team unity.
