I agree. They are there to play football..who gives a frick if they can read or not. All I care about is that they can learn a playbook.

I fail to see why bringing an illiterate kid up to speed at a major university is a bad thing. At worst, a student athlete leaves the university better off than where they were when they got there. At best, they make like Aaron Murray and emerge 4+ years later with a post-grad degree and no debt.
Why is this bad?
