I never liked the horse collar penalty anyways. It's unavoidable sometimes.

Yeah. It was never a problem until guys like Joey Browner started dropping their full weight on it.

I never really liked it either. In the NFL the whole thing started because TO got hurt, once a big star got hurt there's a new rule in place. Sometimes you are forced with a decision to horse collar or watch a guy go by you. The Auburn player decided to stop the guy from scoring any way he could, can't blame him for that.

Amazing reasoning. Grabbing the face-mask is unavoidable at times as well yet can break the players neck. The same goes for the horse collar...
