This would worry me more. LSU fans said the same thing last offseason. If we have a semblance of the 2012 defense this year we only lose to Bama (IMO), and that would have been more of a toss-up. Interestingly enough our defense finished 3rd in the SEC but at times played like A&M.
On topic: Mizzou should be ranked but it's not always bad to fly under the radar.

The point about losing some leadership is valid. I think we'll take a step back defensively but I don't think it will be a huge step (it won't be an A&M step back 
)
