. I think it comes down to the LSU-Bama game. I will give LSU the edge due to it being a home game.

LSU has no interior defensive line, period. It was a homer pick on my part to put them as high as I did. There is a very reasonable argument that LSU could lose 6 games next year given all they are losing with no playmakers returning at receiver and no interior d-line with a new QB, that frankly was less than impressive physically in the bowl.

There is no way LSU contends for the SEC west next year unless AU sustains many injuries, Bama has a garbage fire for QB play and some people really, really step up a key positions for LSU.

Do you seriously believe this? The last time LSU lost more than 5 games was in 1999. Bama will not be as good next season. A&M and Ole Miss will be average to above average teams. LSU gets Florida and Kentucky from the East, two programs that are a complete mess right now. Wisconsin is the only real OOC threat. Even if LSU loses to Wisky, Bama, Auburn, A&M, AND (god forbid) Ole Miss, that's still only 5 losses. I can understand trying to be conservative, but 6 losses is ridiculous considering the talent and coaching LSU has.
