Tenn will make a tremendous leap, but not to #2 in the east. I say #3 or #4

LSU has a great shot at finishing ahead of bama... both replace QBs, and the game is in TS.
our schedule is much tougher next year... we may be the best team in the west road games at k-state, UGA, and bama will be very difficult. Road games at the MS schools won't be cakewalks either.

Looks about right, but I don't know if UT will be strong enough to get #2...maybe another year.

Georgia @ South Carolina will decide the east next year, IMO.

The West looks about right, but honestly I could see MSU making a big jump. It's hard to pin down how it's going to play out with all the unknown variables for UA, LSU, and A&M.
I expect solid seasons from AU, OM, and MSU - considering they'll have the experience at QB.
In the East, I find it hard to fathom UT finishing 2nd. I think they'll be 4/5, but they're losing a lot on their o-line.
I don't think there has been a harder year to rank 2-6 pre-season.

Appreciate the love, but I don't see it yet even with the huge injection of talent.
IMO:
1. UGA
2a/b. SCAR/Mizz
3a/b. UT/UF
4.VU
5.UK
I only put VU that low because of how much they lose. Every play maker on offense (ACS, J Matthews, & Krause) & the entire secondary.
UK still needs a few more classes
UT/UF are the big unknowns

It's tough to do this before all of the leaving early/staying announcements have been made, but here it goes.
I see Auburn losing 3 SEC games next season. That won't be good enough to win the West.
Bama's schedule gets a little tougher but is still favorable. Bama will have a brand new QB.
LSU's schedule gets a little easier, but Auburn on the road early will be a challenge. LSU too will have inexperience at QB regardless of who wins the starting job.
It's going to be a close race. I think it comes down to the LSU-Bama game. I will give LSU the edge due to it being a home game.

UGA will have a really good team next year, IMO. The upside of having a ton of injuries and a young defense is that all those guys come back.

The East looks like it will be a total crap shoot. IMO, it will be a three team race with UGA, USCe, and Mizzou.
I hope and wish the Vols will finish 2nd, but I don't see that happening. I'm looking for improvement, but decent chance it will be another rough year.

With what Arkansas has coming back, I think they win 3-4 games in the league which will put them finishing around 4-5 in the West.

I think the committee will try to avoid having two schools from the same conference in the playoffs.

the winner of the Auburn-LSU game Oct. 4th wins the west next year

Sorry, they are one year wonders. The West will come down to LSU and Bama.
