OK, I must be missing something. None of the 6 bowls is located in JAX or SF? I thought the playoffs would rotate b/w ATL, Tempe, Pasadena, DFW, Miami and NOLA?

The host city for the Semi and Championship will rotate and cities are bidding now for the upcoming years.

I wrote it wrong in the OP. The Semi's locations are locked in, but the Championship game will be played in various venues, like Jerry Dome, and whoever else wins the future bids.
