Dear God no. I ran track in HS and ran the quarter. I hated the work outs for it and would have traded that feeling after a 10x400 workout at the peak of my physique for what I felt after the first insanity workout.

Yes. Very low impact without hurting previous injuries.

Yeah I think I sat in the shower unable to move for about 30 minutes after my first insanity workout
