Does it really matter? Do you need more validation than being SEC champion?

UGA was snakebitten by injuries this year, Bama was at its worst since '07, Florida was awful, Tennessee was still awful, Arkansas was a dumpster fire, Texas A&M had somewhat of a drop-off, South Carolina dropped some games they shouldn't have, LSU was mediocre by their standards, so yeah, the SEC had a down year. I don't think anyone knowledgeable said the SEC was down in 2010. 2010 and 2011 the SEC was at its zenith.

Basically its all about the BIG 6 and the Strongest team in the SEC according to the media. Mizzou and USCe doing good = SEC East down. Its kinda stupid to be honest.
