34+45=79 last time I checked (not 83). point still stands but dodd (and the OP) should have caught that.

We lacked our usual bad arse DLs this year and still was one play from Pasadena. But don't worry we have our best DL class we've had in a long time coming in. We win our next 2 NCs in the next 3 years.

AU had a special teams TD, and OU had a defensive TD and a 5 yard field created by their D. Not that it's much better, but I would put 58 of those points truly on the Bama D.

Also, as for the AU game, I know AU's O scored 28 on Bama. What's their season average? Did Saban's D hold them below their average? If so, how much below?

Giving up points is going to happen. I wouldn't say he's no longer a "defensive mastermind" simply because his team have up some points.

13 of those points were non-offensive touchdowns.
