There is a pretty sizable team talent dropoff when we look at teams 4-6.
There's always going to be gnashing of teeth, but those first 3 spots are going to be salty teams. The best will win on the field.
Winning a championship on the field through multiple rounds is ALWAYS better than getting to a game solely based upon computer rankings and human polls.

Lol was anyone really living and dying with every play of the rose bowl, other than the respective teams' fans? It lost its luster long ago.
I think it will be a unique experience with it being a playoff game as well as "The Rose Bowl".
