I know that the first and last name are both pretty common, but it's interesting that we've had two running backs named Mike Davis over the past 7 years. Anyone else have other names (non-related) that have repeated at other SEC schools?

Charles Alexander. One of the greatest RBs in school history in the 70s, and a defensive lineman on the mid 2000s teams.
This reminds me, in 2011 Matt Moscona (local radio guy) was supposed to do an interview with the RB Alexander, but someone fricked up and called the DT Alexander by mistake. One of the most awkward radio segments I've ever heard

Off topic, but in Lancaster, SC growing up, I played on the same middle school basketball team with two Marcus Robinsons. Same age, same school all the way through. It was sort of funny, because they even looked alike. Made us wonder...

We had a player named Bo Wright and a mistake play run against us known as "Bo right".
Damn autocorrect- Bo not no.

During RG3's Heisman season, the reason he wore "Griffin III" on his jersey was because there was another Robert Griffin on Baylor's team (a lineman).

Don't know of any repeating names but OM had a DB named Fon Ingram a few years back and now we have TE Evan Ingram... That's the best I got.

We had Brandon Jacobs and then had a RB signee named Brandon Jacobs who decided to go to the MLB instead

About 20 years ago, we had TE Mike Cofer on offense and Mike Cofer on defense - believe he was a DE. They were called Mike Stop Cofer and Mike Go Cofer.

What about the brothers from South Carolina who have the same name?

When I was at A&M, the Bennett brothers, Martellus (TE, now playing for the Chicago Bears) and Michael (D lineman, now playing for the Seattle Seahawks) had the same name tag on their jerseys for a few games (although IIRC, 'Tellus eventually had a name tape that read "Ma Bennett").
