Would you give it a rest already. First of all, Alabama should of been dropped at least 2 more notches in the polls that year, but of course they had to keep them in the NC picture. I don't give a frick if ALabama was one of the 2 best teams in the nation that year, they LOST at home and should of been dropped lower than they did. They should of been dropped lower than 4th when they lost to Auburn this year. Auburn you do know if the playoff would be this year y'all would have to play Bama again. Anybody that knows anything about college sports knows it is mighty hard to beat a team twice, especially football!!!

That's really the thing that bothered me about that situation. You know damn good in well that if Alabama came into Tiger Stadium and won in the same fashion as LSU did NOBODY would have even talked about a rematch. As soon as the 11/5/11 game was over everyone in the media was talking "rematch" because for some reason LSU winning in Bama's house didn't prove enough

LSU had everything to lose in the title game... If we win it's, "well they already beat them and should've played okie state" and losing meant no crystal
