I've voted Republican in every election, national, state, and local, since I was able (2004), and still think Phil's verbage of his " opinions" are beyond retarded. Learn some frikkin tact. He didn't compare them. He included all types of sinners in one sentence, which was a direct quote from the Bible.
The point was, he was asked a question in which the media already knew how he would likely answer. Then the left feigned outrage in order to create a controversy and try to destroy/discredit his image. It didn't work, so now they are going to drag up anything from the past that they can find to try and ruin him.

This. The guy is an idiot. The so called Christian right would do well to distance themselves from him. If they ever want to be taken seriously they shouldn't want some redneck bumpkin representing them. The problem is many of them don't see the issue because they themselves are redneck bumpkins.

Some old white dude in backwoods Louisianna doesn't like gay people. Shocker. I bet I can find some old inner city black folks that don't like gays either. Does everyone have to accept your lifestyle for you to be happy?
