I thought Miles was a solid hire. At the time, I thought he had better credentials than Saban had at the time LSU hired him. I still remember the little ear piece head set Miles wore early in 2005. He trashed that quickly once SEC play started.

Yeah I don't think he ever wore this one after the first game. Probably not a good idea to try it out on the road at fricking Arizona State

That was game 2 of his tenure.
People forget that Katrina and Rita came through the first 3 weeks of his 1st season at LSU. We never had a bye as well. Week one was suppose to be ASU at LSU. Instead it was moved to Tempe. Next week 2 was rescheduled(bye week), the UT was moved from Saturday to Monday night thanks to Rita.

I think Madonna or Britney put that in vogue at the time.

I wish we would have gotten Spurrier in 87. Would have saved us a lot of suckage.
