Personally I think it's going to be the top four conference champions most years. As long as those four are in the top 6-7 I think that's what you'll see. Now maybe if you somehow wind up with a 2011 type scenario where you have SEC teams ranked #1 and #2 you could see them both get in over a #7 or so ranked conference champion. Most years though I think the committee will default to conference champs if they can get away with it in public perception. I wish they would've just kept the BCS and taken the top 4. When you look back, the BCS rarely missed the top 4. The committee will open it up to far more subjectivity and personal bias.

This absolutely won't happen. Conference champs have VERY little to do with who gets chosen. Do you really think they would leave out Alabama this year, or three years ago because they weren't conference champions? They will still pick the best four teams.
