South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney received another speeding ticket Thursday.
Columbia Police pulled over Clowney for driving 84 in a 55 mph zone on Interstate 26, not far from campus, according to WISTV.com in Columbia.
Clowney was given a $445 ticket and released, Officer Jim Crawford told WISTV.com.

There shouldn't be 55 m/h zones on the Interstate (unless it's construction related)

You don't pay for a ticket right away. I'm sure he's waiting to sign with an agent and then take care of them
This looks bad after the 100 mph ticket but I-126 always has cops waiting to give people tickets since they expanded the 55 mph zone a year or two ago

Darwin will catch up to him eventually if he keeps this shite up, although this isn't close to as bad as his last

Anytime you get 2 speeding tickets in 30 days it is bad. No way to really spin that.

Notice he was cited for 29 over, I'm guessing 30 over puts it in a different category and the cop was saving him some money and a trip to jail.

I heard South Carolina left for Orlando today. He might have been on his way to campus.

I think we all speed but what he has been doing is irresponsible and flat out dangerous. And the worse part for Clowney is that as subpar as this season was for him.. these 2 tickets will be more damaging to his draft status than that season ever would. I think he'll get drafted high but the guy is clearly showing that he doesn't learn from mistakes and thinks he can get away with anything.

My first thought: Why are the fines so high? A $445 ticket is ridiculous.

SC state patrol are seriously about at a-hole as cops get. I will absolutely vouch for that. One of my greatest driving feats was trapping a patrol behind me in the left lane on 85 going about 55 mph by constantly adjusting my speed to the cars in the two right lanes. When he finally was able to get around me, he blew by going well over the speed limit. However, watching him getting pissed off with no reason to do anything about it was worth it all.

29 over is no joke. In Georgia, if you get a ticket for going 25 over OR going over 80, you are classified as a "super speeder" and fines are astronomical.

Dude SC drivers are atrocious, we deserve such fines.

The scary part is that he was running, not driving.
