The blocking schemes are the same as many offenses. A lot of block down on the play side, backside pulling and kickout blocks. It looks like wishbone, veer, etc except it is run from 3WR sets mostly.

I enjoy watching it, but I realize that no matter the schemes you run- recruiting is the lifeblood of the program. Gus has put together a staff that is really good at recruiting and committed to teaching his system.

As Ellis Johnson gets bigger safeties, DBs and LBs, I think he may prove to be a big time hire.
