Yeah, but can still come up with some more hip tunes.
Pregame is old and tired, time to ditch Swing March.
William Tell has run it's course too.

BTW, I was in a college band for 5 years myself.

On second thought, it's okay if you don't want to come to anymore games

You just picked the two songs the band plays that actually gets the crowd going a bit.

Here's the problem I have with the band - they don't seem to correlate their music to anything that's going on on the field. I think it was the Miss State game - we got a turnover, the crowd was pumped, and the band sat there for a minute, then started playing this song that did nothing to help the atmosphere - rather killed it, in fact. I mean, play the fight song or something, in that situation.

And I'm just going to set this here - the 2001 Space Odyssey/Arkansas flag thing should be left for BWA. It does nothing in an open air football stadium and the visiting band is frequently louder (consequence of most of it being drums) and you can't hear it anyway.

We had a tuba player who wrote some stuff a few years back for both football and basketball. He wrote arrangements for Make it Rain, Heisman theme, and Stronger. He did a good job- the band could use more folks like him.
