Most of you guys sound like a bunch of old men sitting around drinking coffee at a breakfast join discussing how to save the world. If he did purposely engage a young man so that his friends could knock him out, then what do you plan on doing about it other than voicing your opinion here? If you are offended by his actions, and his being received back onto the team, then will you transgress your character to support your entertainment needs?
I understand there is a place for venting and discourse but you guys are expressing high morals and values that I highly doubt you intend to hold up by blacklisting Alabama games until something is done about it.

I am asking for the story to decide what I will do.
Will probably write a letter. I do feel a concern. as a UA Alum and donor.
I have expressed my concern over other issues not related to football such as the segregated Greek system.
I am extremely proud of my school and its tradition. I am against anything that tarnishes its reputation.
Athletes get way too much leeway in their actions. We see that everyday. Under Saban, it doesn't seem to have been a problem or if it was it was dealt with quickly.
I am hoping there is more to the story. If he was an active participant, then youthful offender status or not I do not feel he should have been let back in school, much less on the team.
I love to win and having been watching my UA do it (most of the time) for over 50 years. For the most part we have done it with integrity. I would like for that to continue
