but not so sure I want him representing my university
The worst part to me is that those students who were beaten and robbed now get to help pay this guy's scholarship with their tuition, then they get to go to BDS and watch 100,000 people cheer for him. Today, the University of Alabama put football above the other students who actually make the university.

I just am hoping there is more to the story.
Was he just "in the car" and had no idea what was going on?
I hope that is the case and that he made the wrong decision not to immediately turn the guys in.
I mean Calloway didn't participate in the assault, he apparently just used the card and didn't know it was stolen (????? :roll eyes:).
Again, I am hoping there is more to the story. Otherwise, I am disappointed in this decision.
Honestly, the thing that upset me most about the Shula years was all the thuggery. I didn't like hearing about a UA player being arrested, and then the next thing you know he was back on the field.

I doubt it. The football program is a money maker and gives money to the University so that part of your argument, I disagree with.
I'll leave it up to those that know about this young man more than we do to decide if he deserves a 2nd chance. I only hope they made the right decision and he proves them right.
