Wasn't the only thing keeping defenses disciplined against you guys the fact that containing Johnny Manziel was so difficult? Now they can actually just play more base/standard defenses without having to assign someone to spy or having DL do special things to keep contain.

Not really. That was the conventional wisdom early this season. But it nevertheless really stopped Johnny. Disciplined qb contain is what it tooknto shut him down. Well, that and him being gimp. Healthy Johnny rolls lsu
