Why are most crimes committed by minorities?

Why are minorities so mad? I understand that racism exists for all races and that there are shitty people in the world that are shitty. This thread is not about racial injustice. It's about why I can't walk down the damn street without wondering if every black kid I see wearing a hoodie is going to jump me.
Why are blacks so much more likely to spend time in jail? Is it Dr. Dre and NWA's fault? Would the kids be all frick THE POLICE if we were all listening to George Jones? i'm just sayin
I'm not being racist (as I have a black friend). I'm just being real.

It's a combination of socioeconomics and culture.
People are too scared to admit the obvious...all you have to do is trace the ancestry back to country of origin. Find one African country that is developed and successful, and not torn apart by violence and drugs.
Many of them simply don't have the respect, or understanding, for law and order. Sure some of them do, but a large portion don't. Nothing is holding back their race from being successful in America except themselves but they'll never realize it or admit it.
They hold a more tribal attitude i.e a close relationship to their friends and neighborhood, and abide by the law of the street. They hold little respect for "white man's law" because they see it in their eyes as something that is there to hold them back, so they rebel against it.

Must suck to be racist and paranoid.
I live in the middle of the city of Atlanta. I've never felt threatened. Not a single time have I ever felt like I wasn't safe.
I don't look at every African American as if they're a potential felon though.
My three African American cousins aren't felons. My African American aunt isn't a felon. They've never committed a crime in their life.

minorities sell drugs because they see it as the only way to get ahead and because they have people they see growing up doing it and attaining nice things.
Most of the prison and jail population is incarcerated or has been incarcerated at some point for drugs.
So, the answer is drugs IMO.

Same reason Ole Miss has terrible athletics... you need to educate people before they can be successful. If you have laughably bad education like Ole Miss, everything else suffers.

It's because of the breakdown of the black family. Babies born outside of marriage. Multiple babies from the same mother with several different fathers who don't take responsibility for their actions. So the kids grow up with no father figure, no love and discipline, and an unhealthy family environment. This is what leads to all of the problems in the black community. The absence of marriages and therefore healthy families.
Societies flourish when the children are raised in the context of a marriage. Take away marriage and the community crumbles.
