Losing to two unranked doesn't diminish your resume?
nope. Not when you have the best resume in cfb. As in there wasn't anyone better. Not sure why some people choose to only focus on lsu's losses that year and totally ignore all the accomplishments

I'm not convinced that 2007 LSU was that great.
@ UK 37-43 3OT loss
AU 30-24 win
@ UA 41-34 win
3 weeks later...
AR 48-50 3OT loss
TN 21-14 win

That's hardly what I'd call a dominant team. 2 losses to teams that'd finish the season unranked. Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee weren't good teams, but LSU struggled against them. LSU also struggled against a good Florida team. LSU's only good regular season wins were Virginia Tech and Florida.

LSU dominated Ohio State in the BCSNC, so I won't say that LSU didn't belong there; however, in a year like 2007, what two teams really were the 2 best in the country? Alabama only needed a maximum of 2 teams to lose in 2011 and 2012 to make it to the national championship. I don't feel like counting how many losses LSU waited for in order to get into the BCSNC. Furthermore, Alabama did not lose and struggle in the last 2 weeks of the regular season. They lost in early November; there's a big difference between that and Thanksgiving Day and SEC Championship game weekend.
