So should a one loss SEC West runner up go to the playoff over an undefeated champion of an "inferior" conference? (I'm talking about the PAC 12, ACC, Big Ten, etc.)

how many losses will bama have to have to NOT to make the 4 team playoff? Im thinking 3-4
