I am just trying to make sense of all these rumors, and it isnt happening.

Unlike lsu fans I'm not going to pretend to know Nick Saban's thought process. From a netral point of view it doesn't make any sense, but we really have no idea what he or his family is thinking. I can tell you that I wish it would be confirmed one way or another. If he's going to Texas then I'd like him to hold the presser from Austin tonight. If he's accepting an extension then i'd like the university to make that statement tonight.

Nothing good can come from the silence for Alabama. If he's staying then he needs to put the rumors to bed so that it doesn't hurt us in recruiting. That's my stance on it. If a contract has been agreed upon then he needs to sign the damn thing.

Like I said in the OP, Alabama isn't going anywhere regardless. If Nick Sabana wants to run off to Texas then good luck to him, I pity the fact that he'll regret it a decade from now, because the truth is he'll never top what he's done in his time here.

Do you think that they really care to even address a bunch of unfounded rumors? They probably think that its so dumb they arent even acknowledging it.

He has been talking to these recruits constantly, and doing just that. Bone reported that Hootie told him that he asked Saban about it, and Saban said he isnt going anywhere. Do you think that a coach like Saban would even give anyone the satisfaction of addressing unfounded rumors to the public?
