11-0 Alabama vs 11-0 Auburn next year in the iron bowl.
I could certainly see this happening. both teams will be top 5 preseason teams with decent chances to make it to the iron bowl unbeaten. It's late enough in the season that anyone ranked ahead or between them might have already lost
obviously LSU could (and just might) make a fool of me, but just imagining the hype that game would have..

We might drop a game before that, breaking in a new QB and all that noise but it is possible.

Alabama is a 9-3 type team next year but 2015 sets up nicely.

I'd be pretty shocked if Bama was undefeated 11 games in.. same for auburn

Auburn has a good shot, only real road test will be @ Georgia. Do pull USC as the other team from the east though.
Alabama has to play @ LSU and gets Tennessee and Florida.
I'd bet on Auburn having a better shot honestly. Their offense is pretty young and will be back in force next season.

VERY slim.
Even two very good teams are very likely to lose at least one game out of 11 in the SEC.

5%
And that's not disrespect. It's hard to make it through this league unscathed. Both of you guys are gonna be good though.

While that would be great, it's probably unliklely for both teams.
However could the IB still have National title implications on the line for both teams? Yes, especially with the playoffs coming into effect.

Normally I'd say Alabama is a 10-2 type team but next year the West should be a bit down due to QB's leaving. Minus the QB spot Alabama should be the best team in the country next year. There will be growing pains but I could see Alabama having a very good season. At the same time if the QB spot doesn't work out at all it'll be a rough year.

Auburn gets to enter next season as the hunted, not the team that went 3-9. Considering they escaped by the skin of their teeth on several occasions this year against subpar competition I doubt they're able to maintain this level of success with a target on their back.

Not good at all.
10-1? Sure

Are we then assuming Auburn beats FSU?
Because however soft Bama's schedule next year it is probably no easier than FSU's... and the voters love to carry over a previous season's success as if it were the same team.
Looking at Bama's schedule next year I don't know who other than Auburn, LSU or maybe (but probably not) Florida has a chance to beat them. It looks like a bunch of bye weeks
Auburn has UGA, LSU, Alabama and the way they are rolling now it feels like they will be a force
