I really don't hate Saban. I hate that he coaches Auburn's rival, but he is an intelligent guy that represents the league well.

"because they beat us" - meaning, anyone that beat us certainly deserves to play for the NC

As much as I dislike auburn, that game last week resulted in more mutual respect between the two programs. Auburn won that one straight up. No Cam Newton factor in that one.

Saban doing work for Mike Slive and the SEC...

ETA: Saban's next job after retiring at UA will be a politician.

Saban..

He's a better lobbyist than fricking Jay Jacobs, that's for sure.

Big deal. He didn't say that Alabama didn't belong in the BCSNCG, though.

Anyway, why would the U of Texas coach care one way or the other?

Why wouldn't he say that? He would be a complete moron not to. It also makes bama look. Better with their only loss coming from the NC.

But what an arrogant prick to think he even has to say it. The sec champion with one loss is practically a shoe in. Who gives a fuxk what he says.

I complement Coach Saban in saying this. And I would never throw those words around.

I don't believe he said that just to pump his own program or for SEC pride I believe he is saying that because he knows it's right
