Both have some pretty trashy fans. Alabama has more only because their fan base is bigger.

having lived there for 8 years I can confidently say that the gumps have a higher quantity and quality of the trash element.

Easily Bama. Most Auburn fans are graduates or have family that graduated. Bammers usually don't have much to do with the University.
