I wonder if all polls will cease to exist as not to influence the committee. I know for a fact that the Harris poll (Made strictly for the BCS) will no longer exist.

Here's the thing though: if they keep the AP as well as the Coaches Poll there will always be a discrepancy as the committe will never just pick the Top 4 ranked teams. We would not even need the committee if that was the case. Some of the members have already come out and said that conference champs should take precedence over others which I completely agree with since the conference championship games are actually "playoff" games.

As long as money can be made off of the polls (giggity), they will be made

And what about conferences that don't have championship games?

I honestly wish they'd have just used the same formula and had the playoff between the top four instead of a committee.

Im a firm beleiver that if you do not win your conference- you have no business being in the National championship game, period.
