Vanderbilt is located in Nashville, and there is no way the music city will take a school in its own city. It will take ole miss as ole miss has a great traveling fan base, and will generate more revenue for the town ex) hotels, restaurants. ect.....

Ole Miss will go to Music City sending Vandy to Liberty or Independence

Except for 2008....and 2012. Vandy has been to 3 bowls in the last 5 years...and 2 of the 3 were the MCB.

Why...because Vandy fans don't live in Nashville. Only 30% of their student body even comes from the state of Tennessee. Less than 1/2 even come from the South. If their fans come to the bowl game, they will need to get hotels because none of them actually live in the area. Heck...they probably would be traveling further than the Ole Miss fans.
