Two things that concerned me going into that game came true

I was concerned about our third down completion rate against quality opponents, and concerned about the fact we hadn't had our backs against the wall at the very end of a game. Both of those factors came into play, IMO. (Other factors did too, like the decisions of when to kick a field goal, and the fact we couldn't make any).

The most surprising part of the game to me was our inability to stop their run. No getting around it - they did what they came to do. And they played with heart. It's weird seeing my own team taken down by a group with more heart. But that's what happened.

Much respect. You deserve where you are, and you damn sure deserve a title shot over Ohio State.

Saban still hasn't learned to recruit a good kicker. Cocky little midget.

You would think the Heisman candidate at QB would be much better on 3rd downs.

Alabama could have 3 peated with competent QB play on third down, that's for sure.

Knowledgable and classy. Well put. Some bama fans are saying "luck" and they're wrong IMO. Alabama had chances but didnt capitalize. Auburn left some points on the field also but it happens.

There were alot of things that cost us that game. Lindsay's snaps were low, Cade had a bad night, AJ was a little off, receivers dropped more than usual, busted coverages, Saban made some questionable decisions, and most off all we were playing a good team.

It was a tough loss. NC on line, 3-peat on the line, SEC championship on the line, and it was against our biggest rival that we share the state with. But it is what it is, Auburn made the plays and we didn't.

I thought that Auburn's offense wouldn't be able to score more than 14 points without huge plays, and I was right. Yet again, Auburn did not have to settle for field goals while Malzahn walked the sidelines.
