I think It's either A&M or Florida. While Florida is worse than A&M, Florida fans weren't expecting a divisional title or a birth in the BCSCG.
A&M posters were expecting no less than a 1 loss(bama) season. Some were even saying this team was a National Title contender.
There were also some A&M fans ( I'm not going back to look) that swore this year's defense was far more talented than last year's defense.
A case can be made for Florida. How the hell does a SEC powerhouse lose to a FBS PROGRAM THAT DOESNT COMPLETE 1 PASS?!?!?
That is mind blowing.

LSU at the beginning of the year everyone thought they were being overlooked

ETA: After the TCU game if you talked to any LSU fan you would have thought they were going to win the national championship

I'm personally rather disappointed that Bama played so many sloppy games.

I'd say UGA's season was disappointing but I'd just as easily say its by far the unluckiest team this year. Fortunately we'll be back strong next season.

Florida and its not close.

Sure they've dealt with some injuries like UGA has but UGA didn't lose to a 1-AA teams that didn't complete a single pass

Arkansas not being in the Rose Bowl is pretty disappointing.

That Florida loss was the most embarrassing loss by an SEC team ever. So them.

I'd say A&M, UF, and LSU. There was a lot of talk at the beginning of the season about LSU being a NC contender but they have fallen to 5th in the division.

I'd rank them as follows :

1. Florida
2. Georgia*
3. Arkansas
4. aTm
5. LSU
6. Tennessee

*yes, I know about the injuries.

I am disappointed in our season given that I thought we could potentially compete for a national title this year, but we've injured since camp and then throughout the season starting with the very first offensive drive. Still, 3 of our 4 losses have come to teams currently ranked in the top 6. And 3 of the 4 have been by s combined 12 points. We didn't fall off the map like UF, I'd say they are the correct answer.
