It is readily visible to me that the Gator players are merely trying help a GSU player up off the ground and the nostril technique is quite accepted in the medical field.

As I said earlier, I was standing there when the pic was taken and pointed it out to the photog whose pics those are.
My take on what happened is that it was definitely an unsportsmanlike, but I don't think the eye-gouge was intentional. He tackled the guy, looked down at him, and got up by pushing the guy's face in the grass. I'm not defending that either, but I don't think it was an eye-gouge. The kid getting the business didn't grab his eyes or anything when he got up, though he was clearly not a huge fan of having his face being used as a handrail either.

Yep...but the mob on here wont want to hear it. Happens in every game by everyone, but idiots are easily worked up by freeze frame still shots where they can come to their own conclusions.
Show the entire play.
