The history books have a want for there to not be a repeat SEC champion in the BCS era.

Does South Carolina really want to be put in position to do that. Wouldn't they want Mizzou to go down in the history books as the team who allowed a back to back SEC champion in the BCS era. South Carolina, where much is given, much is required. And if you are given a chance you better take advantage of it.

Damn, I'm confused. It's getting worse every day.

What I think the OP is asking is whether or not SCAR wants to be the one to go to Atlanta and knock-off the Western Division winner thus ending the SEC's BCS bowl streak, correct?

And the answer is ... hell yes we want to be the one. We absolutely want to win the SECCG and we care not at who's expense it might come. We want our SEC Championship, that's all that matters. So if A&M beats Mizzou this weekend and we end-up in Atlanta ... yeah, we're demanding a victory from our coaches and players or else.
