Gus inherited a roster littered with high caliber talent across the board.
While Sumlin got one of the best players of all time, as well as several other very nice contributors and even several All-Americans, he was left with absolute shite defensively.
It's too early to tell on both.

Take away a fluke pass and JFF getting injured and Gus isn't the genius people think he is. The "breaks" went AU's way this year. A lot of close games. The ball doesn't bounce his way next year..... They're not a dominant team. What SEC team did they dominate this year? Tennessee, that's the only one. Too early to tell on either, IMO.
