I agree. It's not like these kids are going on theri first road game, or don't have concentration enough to tune things like that out. It might buy you a few penalties here or there, but i don't give much creedence to crowd noise having too much of an effect on the visiting team. I think it helps the home team get pumped up but thats about it.

That's why it find it funny when people say it's so hard to play in "insert loud stadium". There's nothing to be intimidated of. It's not like they are playing in Azteca or some Central American shithole where you actually do have to worry about the fans.
