One thing is for sure, this will be Mizzou's toughest road test of the season. Their only remotely tough road game was an 11 am start @ beat-up UGA. A game where, to their credit, they jumped out in front and never had to deal with any crowd noise. VHS will be a loud drunk saturday night. Our fanbase has shown up all year and I expect them to have quite the bloodlust saturday.
Franklin being healthy is obviously huge for them but anyone who expects him to come out and not be at least a little bit rusty is probably a Mizzou fan.
On the flip side, we are almost 100% healthy on defense after we got hit by the injury bug midseason.
Will Franklin be able to come back after almost 2 months out and be able to consistently execute on the road in a raucous atmosphere? And if he goes down or is ineffective, how will the freshman Mauk handle playing against a solid opponent on the road?
I think Mizzou gives us fits and it is a hard-fought exciting game - but after the heart I saw in the LSU game and our coaches ability to prepare our team, I think we knock off another top-10 team in a shootout at VHS:
OM: 38
Mizzou: 35

pretty sure Sanford got loud in the 3rd quarter when they'd scored to get back to 28-26 and our starting qb left the game with an injury.
