South Carolina was coming off 0-11 the offseason Saban came to LSU

But yeah, they were head and shoulders better

We're not talking about South Carolina in 2000. We're talking about South Carolina right now. And if you want to get into comparisons, LSU's record from 1990-1999 wasn't much better than South Carolina's record in the previous decade before Spurrier got there.
