Wut? Check out LSU's record before Saban got there. They were awful, certainly far worse than South Carolina is with Spurrier right now.

He is good enough to probably win it at State. I'm sure he would have to grind for a couple years with that sunbelt quality roster and stadium they have.

South Carolina doesn't have near about the recruiting footprint that LSU has and always have.

1. LSU has a lot better resources than South Carolina
2. South Carolina was 0-11 in 1999, Saban's last year at Michigan St

so yeah, no
